Press Release, May 5, 2008
ATLANTA, May 5, 2008 – CresaPartners, an international corporate real estate advisory firm, recently assisted Apogee Interactive, Inc. in negotiations for new office space in Crescent Centre in the Northlake area. In August, Apogee will relocate its headquarters to 100 Crescent Centre Parkway from the current Oglethorpe Power Corporation building site. Billy Hobbs, Principal, and Jason Jones, Director, represented Apogee in the lease negotiations.
Apogee is the leading provider of Internet-based software solutions for the energy industry. Over the past 15 years, the Atlanta-based company has developed cost-effective Internet tools to help utilities fulfill their goals. The company currently employs more than twenty-five professionals and the Crescent Centre location will provide space for future growth.
“We trusted CresaPartners to protect Apogee’s best interest in the transaction and we are delighted at the results,” said Susan Gilbert, President and CEO of Apogee. “CresaPartners executed efficiently during the lease negotiations and we have retained their project management team to coordinate the build-out.”
Dennis Compton, CresaPartners’ VP Director of Project Management, is responsible for guiding the construction of the new suite, including selection and oversight of furniture, phone and cabling vendors. Loia Budde Architects developed the office design.
“Remaining in the Northlake area was important to Apogee and we were fortunate to quickly locate a suite of over 7,000 square feet that perfectly fit their requirements,” said Jason Jones, Director with CresaPartners. “The new space even offers a view of the lake and the generous tenant improvement allowance provides the opportunity to add extra upgrades to the existing configuration.”
LaSalle Income and Growth Fund is the owner of Crescent Centre. Phil Deguire, formerly with Resource Real Estate Partners, represented the landlord in the transaction.
